If you have ever wanted to learn how to draw and/or paint, Glastonbury School of Art is a fantastic place to go. I turned up as a complete beginner and was met by a smiling Antoniadis who's a fantastic, patient teacher. There's a lovely relaxed atmosphere in the studio. The lessons are great for all ages (teenagers upwards) and all abilities. The added bonus is that the lessons are very reasonably priced. I couldn't recommend it highly enough.

I enjoyed my session so much that I was hooked and made a booking again for the very next day! Ioannis places much importance on learning the foundations of art and painting. Ioannis is simply a brilliant teacher. I have never been any good at art. I can’t even draw a stick man and I failed my art exams at school. I was hopeless. But thanks to Ioannis’ guidance, patience and maybe most of all his encouragement, I have my first ever painting framed on my living room wall. My family can’t believe me when I say I painted it. I take no credit at all for it.... in 3 lessons Ioannis taught me to paint..... and made it fun. My second piece is a even more complex and equally amazing to me. 
I think apart from his obvious skill and ability to explain techniques in a clear and simple way, it was his implicit belief that I could do it, and kindly, laughing yet firm refusal to pander to me saying I couldn’t, that led me to learn to do something I thought I was born incapable of doing!
